We’re Three Neighbors from Halfway
A Birthday Wish for South Durham
I’m asking 100 neighbors to help raise $5,000 by Sept. 22 to expand independent local journalism through Southpoint Access.

We’re closing in on the halfway mark.

So far, 47 neighbors have contributed $1,879 to the 100 Neighbors for Local News campaign.

That puts us:

  • Three neighbors away from reaching 50
  • 47% of the way toward our 100-neighbor goal
  • 37.6% of the way toward our $5,000 fundraising goal

The campaign continues through Sept. 22, my birthday. Money raised will help Southpoint Access pay freelance reporters, cover public records and research costs, and invest in more original journalism about South Durham.
