Southpoint Access isn’t just a place where I report the news. I want it to be a place where neighbors can share the stories, experiences, and information that make South Durham feel like a community.

How can you take part?

• Remember a beloved pet through Huck’s Heavenly Hangout.
• Add a church festival, school fundraiser, yard sale, performance, or other community activity to the FREE events calendar.
• Share a favorite family recipe for the South Durham cookbook.
• Write a quick Nerdspresso review of a book, movie, TV show, or game you love.
• Celebrate a birthday, wedding, anniversary, graduation, or other milestone.
• Submit a letter to the editor (email it to wes.platt@southpointaccess.news) about an issue that matters to you.
• Pass along a news tip, question, or neighborhood concern you think I should investigate.

You don’t need to be a professional writer, and your submission doesn’t need to be polished. I’m happy to help shape it for publication. If you have something to share but aren’t sure where it fits, just reply to this email and tell me about it.
