Durham City Council Nixes Moriah Ridge

After hearing from dozens of people concerned about potential impacts on the environment and the rural character of the area around Mt. Moriah Road, the Durham City Council voted unanimously to turn down plans for the Moriah Ridge development proposed by M/I Homes of Raleigh.

But council members also warned that development in that area is likely inevitable.
