Duke Street Closures Continue in Late May
Get used to finding detours to downtown from South Durham!

Durham city officials this week posted an alert that work crews will close Duke Street between Trinity and Monmouth avenues starting in late May and continuing through the fall.
They're shutting it down for the South Ellerbe Restoration Project, which will complete a new stream and wetland effort that includes a paved trail and public art. Watch for digital message boards and detour signs.
Motorists will be routed to Washington Street or Buchanan Boulevard to detour around the work zone.
